'hear ye hear ye' I should have written... I get so annoyed by those
kind of mistakes!
I don't want to take away from the discussions coming up - here's a
question for anyone who has some experience:
I'm looking for some guided imagery audio files. Where can I get
some? I've scourged the internet and found a few cd's but nothing
really convincing and most internet searches turn up a lot of junk.
All I want are a few tracks of a soft voice leading me through a
relaxing visual experience. I was hoping to find a website full of
them! No such luck, maybe I'll write/record my own, so if you know of
a website that would host them, let me know and I'd be happy to share
them!
When I was in high school my psychology teacher had one that we did, I
think it was probably categorized under self-hypnosis. It was a video
of an older man (not sure why a video since eyes are closed) sitting in
a rocking chair. He leads you through a very beautiful experience
where you create your own imaginary world to go to for peace and
quiet. I distinctly remember my shoulders relaxing and dropping 2
inches. Well, the next day they were tight again and 10 years later I
can't get back that 2 inch relaxation again!
