Wow!
It’s kind of wild that you brought up music in regards to this on the
street idea. Where right toward the end of writing my post the
song “Taken it to the street” popped into my head, but I had already
been so long winded…anyway thank you for sharing some of your ideas on
its origination. And yes my using the words simplistic and simple in
regards to how you used the term “…on the street” was very much a
compliment. Of course I have heard “the street” used in a number of
ways, as I was trying to express I have tried to use it here in class
a number of times. But what always came out in print was something
like “out here in the walking around world…” or something of such. But
something in the way ‘that is you’ by the way, clear and precise way
you stated it, it really resonated with me.
