When it comes to relating LSD (and other drug induced) mystical experiences.. have there been studies that address the differences between drug induced and natural induced (ie meditative) experiences? My concern (well I actually have a few but..) would be that the drug induced experience might be an example of a "false" positive so to speak.. and so not a good way to document experience of mystical events. And may actually be used, by those in science, to describe away such experiences as they are obviously (in the case of drug induced) reactions within the brain and therefore so easily dismissed as such.
