John offered a response which represents one side of the two poles: 'get that out of here!' This is the flip side of 'do it!!!' I say both postures distort the matter of psychedelic research and use, which is better documented by older shamanic studies and newer psychological ones on altered states of consciousness. The advantage of mindfulness as a tool over psychedelics is its gentle and user-friendly quality. Both tools need both a capable instructor and a student who is learning how to learn.
