Hi,
For me, a favourite way to practice mindfulness is to be aware of the sound of the city: engines, leaves, footsteps, sirens, voices, breezes, rain.
Another is to be aware of my footsteps while I am walking.
The sense of engagement I was getting for the first month or so has gone. Nevertheless, I feel the benefits of such mindfulness as I achieve and I intend to stay with it.
