yes, Jeff, the turmoil of being aware (or even half-aware) is not easy
to ignore - it is one such turmoil that led me to this site -
Some time ago, I had a conflict with a friend, and ended up not talking
to this person, except when it is unavoidable, as I thought this was
the least troublesome way to go. A few days ago we had to exchange a
few words, and I called this person a 'con-artist'. Although I didn't
think this was an exaggeration on my part, it kept coming back to my
mind during the day, and when I got on to the Web I did a search on
'con-artist' - and ended up here...Now, isn't this what the hermit was
talking about ? :)
