Wow! I must say I have never thought about spirituality as being associated strictly to religion and more related to
just the human need to explain the brain in terms of emotion, thought and interpretation!I know religion has
always brought spirituality into their realm, in all religions; but never considered it something to be religious in
order to study!Just a common ground for trying to understand what exactly it is,and seems religious peoples were
some of the first to ask the question perhaps and speak out loud about the wonder it is!Religion to me is a tool to
this quest for understanding for so many who have no other means of explanation. All lies within the brains of
mankind to me and whatever tool one chooses as a vehicle toward understanding is chosen, and for me a "religion"
is not necessary for this,a study of religious prophets and good over bad lesson is taught in many ways by many
prophets and plain people throughout time and their teachings and opinions are helpful for any person and are a
wonderful help but subscribing to the idea that only one way is the right way to spiritual understanding and
segregating it so seems ridiculous to me.The most centered religion to me is the Bahi'i faith that considers all the
good from all religions and considers science etc which makes more sense in our modern world!I have neighbors
who are devout christians of some kind that home school their children and make them believe archaic thoughts
and dismiss every scientific discovery that disputes creation so therefore their son thinks dinosaurs didnt exist
cuz the earth was not "made" yet etc etc.Guess he cant be a Paleontoligist when he grows up!
This is strange to me and many of these children will grow up and have to be re-educated properly after being
raised by these extreme religous fanatics!I see it daily where I live and feel sorry for those who are not allowed to
be open minded and explore the wonderful world that is out there to percieve! Educationally, spiritually or
otherwise!
Just my opinion!
Love Suz
