comes through that successfully with an understanding of Borderline
Personality Disorder?"
Well John, I don't know too much about EITHER of these "disorders" but
I DO know that when anyone begins to understand how they themselves
operate and react there is HOPE that the next person they meet might
just benefit from that. They may "see" their reaction and identify
those reactions in the other and perhaps feel real empathy for the
other therefore adjusting their interaction. Their relationships MIGHT
just be better for it.
But to clarify John, for me therapy lead to a much deeper knowledge of
all things. It has been a place where I can question everyhing I
presumed was "correct". I find utter amazement in the revelations
within my own experiences revisited. But I also believe that there are
many paths out there (the wheel being one) BECAUSE people are so
diverse and so not just one thing can work for all people. The Wheel
will work for some, therapy for others, religious teachings for others
etc etc.
I wasn't stung by your comment only concerned that all things be
allowed credibility. Transpersonal Therapy works amazingly well for me
AND I understand that it won't work that way for everyone.
Best
Deirdre
