Hare Krishna

I am very deeply saddened to hear of the passing of George Harrison. I met him in Los Angeles, in the spring of 1967, at Ravi Shankar's sitar studio,
when I did an interview and a story on George in the old Los Angeles Herald-Examiner, called "A Little Bit of What it Sounds Like."

And then, in my secret alter ego as a hippie at that time, I did another version of my story that I published in the old psychedelic tabloid, the Oracle of
Southern California. A little bit of history passes.

Hare, hare. Krishna, Krishna.

The reverberations still go on. He was amazingly well-versed, as a teacher, in the ancient metaphysics of love.
