Hello to you, Kristin, Janina, Yvonne and Steffi. I'm John, in the Arizona desert and mountains, age 67, coach of this long-standing international on-line
class of men and women who are mostly quite older than you. Best wishes to you all.
>HELLO! how are you can you say what you do in this time?
We are studying methods of growing older together more gracefully and peacefully, by practicing a meditation technique that is called "mindfulness."
After four years of studying and working hard on this together here on-line, we are starting to show some progress now, at last.
With a big smile, I'm sure I can speak for all of the members of this class in many lands, in wishing the four of you long lives, and plenty of happiness
and fun!
If I may pass along to you an old Hawaiian proverb that I learned more than thirty years ago while camping at Makua Beach, it goes like this:
"Don't provoke, and you will grow up to be mellow old Folks ('Makua' in Hawaiian) like us."
That's pretty much the gist of it, in summing up what our little Classroom Talk class is about.
Coach
