SPRING BREAK ENDS SUNDAY, APRIL 14TH. Posted by John on April 02, 2002 at 11:44:15:
Howdy, Folks!
April 14th is the birthdate of our little website, and even though it falls on a Sunday this year, I'd like to open the new semester on that date.
I'll probably type in a few words of greeting when I get home from the country that night, and exchange hellos, if any of you are already around and,
uh, present. This will mark the "official" beginning of the Sixth Grade around here. I'll pick up coaching again that Tuesday if I can, after my usual
day-off.
Perhaps I am overly optimistic, but I think we will not need to go farther than the Sixth Grade with this "crazy on-line experiment" in attempting to
create a master class on the Internet. So far, so good. I'm doing the best that I can. The rest of this year's semesters will be "what I have been laying
all those many foundations for" over these past years. And, I won't be surprised if, by the time the Winter Solstice comes around, we can graduate a
classful of lovingly productive and lovably mellow seers into this difficult world . . . or, mindful warriors of peace and harmony, as the awareness game
would call it.
But then, as my teacher Mits said, "There's always the dog." Heh-heh. I don't know. We'll see if we can get through it and do it together, or not.
Coach
Remember you're in there behind those eyes.
