insomniac thoughts
Posted by Douglas on May 04, 2002 at 10:01:15:

Hi folks:

John and John,

I have had little sleep as of late and consequently more than enough time to review the previous posts. Literally, I would like to
sleep on them and I am given to advise that you do the same. In the meantime, let us return to the main trajectory of this
Classroom, address the issues of my Classmates, and leave this unfortunate tangent for the time being until insight reveals itself.

My own self observation reveals at least two psychological dilemmas in this matter.

One is in regard to the emotional component — I tend to be located in my mind for feeling is too hurtful and depressing. It is a
long standing belief that not to feel is preferable to feeling negative; mind you, this strategy denies feelings that might be labeled
positive as well.

Secondly the physical component mirrors the emotional component, in that pain, discomfort, and distress are my daily companions
and I shun them as best as I can.

Consequently John, many of your questions fall upon deaf ears for I have no desire to be present.

Escape, truly is my modus operandi.

(This is beginning to sound like a Confessional booth save that I am not Catholic.)

At any rate, would you care to expand upon your Drama scenario, for I am perplexed as how, being no Charlie Chaplin, to tell the
tale without dialogue.

Douglas

who should shutup for the time being.
