apology and postscript Posted by Douglas on May 24, 2002 at 10:31:53:
Hello Coach and Classmates:
I should like to make an apology for my abscence; not that my silence wouldn’t be a blessing, but that I started many a string herein
which I can not follow through with.
Presently the CPU of my Mac 9600 is sitting in pieces, as I speak, at my feet, in need of a new floppy drive and a general overhaul.
Communication is more than erratic if my e-mail is any indication, for there are messages returned on my Netscape Browser which I
never sent.
John, have you received my recent missive to you regarding the drama? This is not to prompt a premature reply, only to reassure
myself that my inquiry has been received.
While I am on the subject of silence, Sally, is my AIM connection dead or are you simply busy?
What a mess!
At any rate, I have managed to find a replacement drive at one:

I am not given to advertising but the man has been a saviour in this case. Should any of you own a Mac and be in need of replacement
parts, try here first.
His business ethics are impeccable and his prices challenge e-bay.
Well, that is my sorry state. I should be back online in about 10 days.
Once again, my apologies for the inconveniece.

P.S.: Eon, thirty years ago I practiced Tantric Yoga and my experience bears little resemblence to yours. Although I lived in a
commune at the time, the practice was hardly communal. As I wrote to Pauline:
“Thirty years ago, I lived in a commune with my girlfriend at the time, Janet, and we explored Tantric Yoga. What a fiasco! After
six months, no doubt we were both more limber and flexible but in regards to sex, we were both dead bored.”
“Do you have any idea what it takes to make a twenty year old male bored with sex?”
“As I remember, I couldn’t keep up an erection for the required period nor could Janet keep lubricated. Essentially it was Yoga in
the nude and little else.”
“Raw, spontaneous, dare I say, adolescent, sex served us both much better.”
“No where, was the suggestion that this should involve more than one’s partner; more prohibiting would have been the
embarrassment.”
“What his sources are, I do not know, but questioning him was to the point.”
Let us be open about such matters.
