Douglas has come up with yet a new draft—a beauty—that I like the best of all, so far—a triangular moebia strip in the colors of the rainbow. It's
stunning. This has, for me, a memorable appeal, and is just what a real logo *is*.
My ideas the other day were too complicated for a logo, and went beyond what a logo is supposed to do. Moreover, I can see now, if you twist a
moebia strip up so tight that it can be made into an octagon, you lose the artistic effect of seeing what a moebia strip is, the beauty of the way it bends.
With a triangle, and only three bends, you can see that, vividly, you can experience the "oomph" of what a moebia strip is. Whew!
Unless anyone else has any objections, I'm happy with this logo to represent all of our fictitious corporate endeavors around here from now on. It's
simple, beautiful, and it makes our "metaphysical points," as well. Because it is simple, it can be reduced to a small size for our letterhead without losing
the image and effect. Yes, this is much better than anything we've seen before, in my sense of it. I'm stoked! It's even "happy looking," and *lively*—
it's in motion!!!
Thank you, Douglas. The Design Department has carried the day here for us All. And this piece of work is actualized in the real world, a good
example of that. I feel proud of our new logo. Yes, I do.
Coach
By the way, I mispoke the other day, in calling that a "Board" meeting. Actually, more technically correct, it was our first Fictitious Staff Meeting. And
*already* we got *something tangible* done! — (That is the secret way to do it, Folks, one step at a time.) — "Spiritual productivity." Way to go,
team!
I wonder if there's anybody out there among you Folks thinking about what would be fair and realistic salaries for Staff members to be paid. It ought
to be enough to live on, if fulltime, that's for sure. And it ought to be proportional to what others doing the same work are paid, if it's paid part-time
and hourly, or by contract. (And then, maybe, a *little* less, for modesty's sake.) But our budget should be fair, honest and as realistic in today's
world for a non-profit corporation as possible. I know nothing about what people make nowadays in society. I couldn't even guess. Would someone
care to educate me on this?
