Haven't been around for a long time and am glad everyone is still here.
I've been in a short but difficult period of struggle between my
dictator and can-do self and have been able to "do nothing" about it
for a week or so. Slowly my fantasies of pushing people around, telling
them what to do, threatening them, and firing them have eased. I have
slowly seen the fantasies as that and through careful non-action
haven't made any bad missteps. This post was just what I needed to
finish off getting the perspective I was looking for. Now is the time
to go back and just do what can be done.
