Classroom Talk

Looking on the bright side of it . . . heh-heh. Posted by John on November 06, 2002 at 21:39:42:
Well, I can't think of much to say right now. Starting full-time work in the country tomorrow morning could turn out to be a good thing. Along the
lines of Nietzche's famous remark ("That which does not kill me makes me stronger."), the stress of it could be just what I need to bring some more
strength back into this old body.
Even though it's been so relatively quiet in class these days, and it makes me wonder if we might be finally coming to the end of our trail at last as a
class together, I'm not ready to give up the ghost around here yet. But—I feel sort of guilty to say it—the diminished participation around here lately
is sort of "convenient," after all, in a way, if I have to be working so many hours at my other job for the rest of this year.
Maybe we'll see another renaissance in Classroom Talk again. I'd like to see that. And for those of you who are still around nowadays and care to
keep going, I promise to do my best to respond to your postings along the way when I can, if you'll bear with me.
Go ahead and make the best of it talking with each other, if you'd like to . . . and I'll just try to flow with it, and play in when I can.
Warmest regards, as always,
Coach
