Bejan refers to ACIM by the way when he says that once he objected to a
student putting her foot on it but the student insisted that there was
nothing wrong about it as ACIM too was just a book, an object you could
use to rest your hurting foot on.

Anyway thanks to Coach's training for cultivating awareness plus ACIM, I
was able to quit smoking this 9/11.

Unlike the past when I had quit, this time I am not scared of picking it
up again because every time the urge wells up I am able to see it, feel
it and before long it ends/passes. So this time I am not suppressing it,
not running away from it, but facing the urge to smoke on the rare
occasion it tries to overpower me. Secondly, all such occasions serve as
a bell to wake up because the urge wells up during "sleep" when some
excitement, either negative or positive takes hold.
