Here is an interesting tip, I guess from Osho, but I am not sure: Every
time anger or a desire grips you, focus on your breathing pattern and
change it.

I have tried it with various forms of desires and more recently two
nights ago during severe tooth-ache. The pain did not disappear, but it
was less 'biting, gripping' as misery which was just setting in and
creating a funny sensation in legs was stopped in its tracks simply
through the change of the pace of breathing.
