Sorrow and regrets

Sally, you have my condolences. I am sorry for your loss. I didn't
know.

I'm afraid saying things that I regret is a horse that's already left
my barn. My most egregious was speaking the truth to a loved one
about my feeling at a time and in a way designed to hurt her which it
did deeply. It was pure Personality and haunts me to this day. The
best I can do is "know" I was asleep and try to stay awake.

May you find peace in your grieving process. Sincerely, Student John
