Hi Rob,

Coach’s analysis seems right on the money to me. However, I wonder
about that “sly” part about contacting the college’s lawyer. Probably
will work, but I wonder.

When I read your post initially I heard some “music” which may be only
in my head. Doormat is one of my personality traits so that’s why I’m
trying to be cautious with my comments. Only you can know if that is
so for you. It feels to me that you want to let slide being “conned”
and “ordered about.” If so, in mindfulness terms dealing directly with
the Dictator and the Con Artist rather than the lawyer might offer an
opportunity for growth, but it may not be the “best” solution to the
problem.
